We are the first place of education for Newcomers, children who are new to the Netherlands and don't have enough knowledge of the Dutch language to attend a regular Dutch school. Our students are between 6 and 12 years old and we offer an educational individual program.
Would you like to register your child(ren), please send an email using the register button at the bottom of this text. An intake will be scheduled as soon as possible. Children with the age of 4 or 5 years have to be registered at a regular elementary school.

In communicating with parents, we use Parro. This is a secure communication app. Parro is intended for communication between the teacher and the parent(s) of a group. School and group information is also shared through Parro. You will receive an email to create an account to log into Parro.
The Haarlem Taal advisory center is linked to the ITK. The advisory center team has two main tasks:
1. Support regular schools.
2. Follow-up of pupils who have moved on to regular Dutch education.
In addition to these two main tasks, the advisory center has also set up several projects and trainings for (colleagues from) elementary schools.
