TWijs

Who we are and what we do

TWijs stands for Ten Thousand children world wise. This is our mission: In ten years to develop knowledge, skills and wisdom together with 10.000 children so that they can find their place in the world.

TWijs is an organization with a Christian and Catholic identity. This means that within all TWijs schools there is room for all children, parents and colleagues who feel at home with us and who respect our foundation. Of course, the school must also be suitable for your child. And if not, we will work together to find the school that is best for your daughter or son.

TWijs manages 34 schools in the municipalities of Bloemendaal (with the village centres of Aerdenhout, Bennebroek, Bloemendaal and Overveen), Haarlem, Haarlemmermeer, Heemstede and Zandvoort.

More than 8000 children attend our schools; these are schools for primary education, special primary education and secondary special education. In addition, TWijs manages the International Language Class for newcomers and the International School Haarlem.
